2007 Morisoli Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark red in color with dusty red fruit upon first sniff, morphing into complex aromas of anise, dark chocolate, and cigar box with layers of clove and spice. With round tannins on the palate and a lingering finish of sweet vanilla and a touch of cedar, this well-built wine is rich and powerful.
The vines that produce these grapes are grown in the iconic area of many other highend, culty Rutherford wines. If Napa had a tier system like Burgundy, the Morisoli vineyard would be recognized as a Grand cru vineyard.
