2009 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark red in color with intense aromas of root beer, cassis, vanilla, cocoa powder, and milk chocolate giving way to notes of espresso and pencil lead with hints of cedar and allspice. Full and rich on entry with immediate flavors of cassis, giving way to milk chocolate and ending with layers of rich, dark chocolate-- beautiful arc of flavor from first sip to last swallow.

The majority of grapes come from our own 24 acre Rutherford estate where all five Bordeaux varietals are grown: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec.
